GHOST TOWN
Ghost Town is a story about Rick, who is a struggling alcoholic, but more importantly, he's a father. We follow Rick on his journey to make the decision to continue down the path of feeding his addiction or with the support of his daughter Claire, leave it behind and begin a new chapter of life.
THE STORY
Ghost Town is a powerful and emotional story that explores the difficult journey toward recovery and focuses on the moment of making the decision to stop or let it consume you. The film follows Rick, a blue-collar alcoholic man in his 50s who has hit rock bottom. He has lost his job, is behind on bills, and is facing jail time if he is caught driving under the influence again.
His daughter Claire is called in to help her father get back on his feet and overcome his addiction. However, their relationship is strained due to Rick's past actions and neglect of Claire. As they work together toward Rick's recovery, their relationship begins to heal.
Nevertheless, the road to recovery is never easy, and Rick is faced with the difficult choice of either giving in to his addiction or gaining his daughter's love. The film explores the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the importance of family support in the recovery process.
Ghost Town is a story that many people can relate to and empathize with, as addiction is a common struggle that affects countless individuals and their families. The film sheds light on the harsh realities of addiction and the difficult choices that must be made in order to overcome it. Thom Chacon - Rick
Thom Chacon, the Durango, Colorado actor and balladeer, breathes life into the characters he inhabits on screen and in song.
His latest acting projects include a lead role in TV’s, Wild West Chronicles (S.3, Ep.11) and a supporting role and original song in the feature film, 5 Outlaws and a Saddle Bag.
Chacon’s current nine-song manifesto, Marigolds and Ghosts (Pie/ Appaloosa Records) is filled with his one-of-a-kind, hardscrabble American storytelling.
When he's not guiding fly-fishing in the Rockies by drift boat or horse, you can find Thom Chacon telling a story through music and film.
Melissa Dunn - Claire
Melissa Dunn is an actress based in Colorado, California and Utah. Growing up, she has always been drawn to creating art and storytelling. She fell in love with acting at the age of 13 when she started her first acting lessons.
One of her favorite things in the world is showing the humanity (the good, the bad, the ugly) of each character. She currently trains with the Rohrering Success, the Actors Voice, and the Write to Act Workshops in Colorado.
She is a karaoke enthusiast, a collector of quotes, and always looking for the best coffee shop in town.

Ryan Frazee is an award-winning filmmaker based in Fort Collins, CO. Beginning as a documentary filmmaker attempting to capture the world for what it is, he began to turn his eye towards directing and creating a world that is his own. Ryan’s intense passion for visual storytelling naturally led him towards filmmaking and his work has gained selections and awards at festivals around the country.

Hudson is an accomplished cinematographer and filmmaker based in northern Colorado. He has been behind a camera for most of his adult life and has honed his craft to become one of the most well-known artists in his area.

ANDREA NORDGREN
PRODUCER
Andrea Nordgren is an award-winning independent director, producer, and filmmaker working in commercial, branded content, and film. She has produced two feature films and several short films in addition to a 25-year career in advertising.
She's a member of Free the Work, Alliance of Women Directors, Women in Media, and in 2023 served as a Cannes Lions Young Lions Film Competition Judge. Based in Boulder, Colorado, she was previously vice president of Women in Film and Media in Colorado. She also spent eight years as Executive Producer for The 3% Movement, where she advocated for increased diversity and inclusion in the advertising and media industries as well as in front of and behind the lens
